Muvimayking: Our heritage

The first one was responsible in a creative duet for creating a video, and the second was a rather famous e -sports journalist and wrote to the leading portal of those years – Cyberfight.ru.
Opening of the portal Movienations.COM took place on November 7, 2005. Soon he became one of the best thematic sites around the world. Mostly he was visited by talented guys who constantly honed skill, not forgetting and competing with each other.
All these “catch -ups” gradually led to the fact that a bunch of training videos on work in the site appeared on the site Sony Vegas , Adobe Premiere , Adobe after Effects , Fraps and other video editing programs. These lessons were the disposition of hundreds of beginners – many studied the basics precisely on Movienations.

[G. Glau] The first two muviks are some kind of video about the team Mibr And CPL1337. I got them by chance. Looking at them, I got all this. Thank God, soon we had an unlimited Internet (20 KB \ s), I pumped several pieces a day and looked, looked at and watched ..
I can't explain what I found in them then, I just wanted more and more. There are many favorite videos, it is difficult to highlight one one, however, I can name Eve And Hush. At one time, these two works were something impossible ..

[AND. Zotov] I have drawn a lot since childhood, I really wanted to create cartoons. And he made the first videos on CS only to boast of his game to friends. There was no talk of any beauty, only later I realized that these two things can be combined.

Later I found on the Web forums dedicated to muvimayking, and learned about Sony Vegas. I work in it to this day. The main installation programs are Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere, well Final Cut For Mac OS. There is no big difference between them, each has its own pros and cons of.

[AND. Zotov] I had no access to the lessons before, and there were very few of them themselves. I had to figure it out myself. Well, from 2008-2009. I began to watch and read everything that I could find by profession. It is regrettable that schoolchildren are now very lazy, ask the same questions, instead of teaching on their own.

[G. Glau] To master the basic things of Sony Vegas and learn more, I once read forums and text lessons with pictures. Now for beginners there are hundreds of video tutorials for every taste and in all languages of the world, so you can comprehend something if you wish can be easily and quickly.

Each video recorded by friends on a flash drive was perceived no worse than a movie blockbuster. Over time, of course, it became clear that ordinary guys were doing the videos, sitting at home. In the movie, the film output of some cult director is a significant event. This was the same with Muviks; announced the premieres of outstanding videos, interviewed, there were even forums where the authors talked with simple mortals. All this was damn great.

[Gambling.ru] how much on average you occupy a high-quality video for seven to ten minutes? What are the main difficulties?
[AND. Zotov] The difficulty is that I no longer remember what and how … The last time Muvik himself completely did at the end of 2009. It was my part from the video Movienations rave on!. Now I sometimes producing other work. That is, I receive a budget from the customer, I am looking for installers and designers on it and follow the qualitative completion of the tasks. [G. Glau] In principle, a powerful computer is optional, I know people who have made just great work on ancient cars. But, of course, the more powerful, the better: fewer lags, it is loading faster, shows and encoded. Comfort in our business is very important, and if everything hangs, you will only be nervous. [AND. Zotov] There is nothing to brag about now, in old work you constantly find a bunch of errors. Now I am collecting a new RIL of our studio ( Chaosform ), I hope to finish in the spring. I plan to show off them!

Most tied their lives with creating videos, graphics. Some, however, are still fond of flyers, but there are those who only sometimes look through the videos and nostalgies at that time. As for me, I committed it to this.

[G. Glau] Depending on what is meant by muvimeyking. If you just create videos, then everything, as before, is a bunch of video of different quality on YouTube. But for me, muvimayking is primarily the Commonwealth of like -minded people, a certain feeling of community, which has been the last seven years on the site Movienations.Com.
And if you look from this side, then the patient is not so dead than alive, but already delivered from the morgue to the cemetery, buried and only occasionally someone brings him flowers to the grave. The majority has grown their hobby and changed the sphere of activity.

[G. Glau] If we talk about the guys who make videos in the field of e -sports, I can say that this is more of money for pocket expenses than a salary, so that no comfortable existence and speech cannot go. And if we take into account those who have moved from the creation of rollers on CS And Quake to something more serious (video editing, creating graphics and design), then everything is already fine there, and their work is appropriately paid.
